Remanufacturing
Rockland Standard Gear remanufactures in house
standard transmissions and transfer cases which come
with a 12 or 24 month unlimited mileage nationwide
warranty. We also have a performance group that rebuilds
and manufactures 5 and 6 speed transmissions for many
professional race teams, auto restorers, hot rodders,
kit car builders, tuners, and car enthusiasts who want
to enhance the performance potential of their street
cars. We have the transmission or the transfer case for
your GM, Ford, Dodge, or Jeep truck, or performance car.
Performance Group
The Performance Group specializes in the
production of bullet proof race proven manual
transmissions for GM Corvettes,
Camaros, and Firebirds,
Ford Mustangs,
Dodge Vipers, Cadillac CTS-V,
and Pontiac GTOs. We also have 5 and 6 speed manual
transmissions to upgrade the performance on earlier GM,
Ford, Dodge, and Chrysler muscle and pony cars. We
manufacture the 6 speed
Tranzilla™ units for all of these vehicles including
Chrysler Hemi equipped cars. Rockland Standard Gear is a
Tremec Elite distributor and is the only outside company
ever chosen by ZF to remanufacture the S6-40 6 speed
transmission in the 1989-96 Corvette C4 models.
